Individual therapy is a process through which we encourage a child or young person to express thoughts and feelings, work through issues, and develop skills to achieve goals in a safe and open environment.
Individual therapy aims to improve mental health, increase self-esteem, encourage better relationships, reduce problematic behaviours, and decrease distress.
At Primary Care Children’s Practice, we assess and treat emotional, social and behavioural concerns using the latest evidence-based psychological therapies through Individual Therapy.
