Challenging behaviours are common in children, and it is part of a child’s development to push the boundaries of parental and family rules. Unfortunately, these behaviours sometimes increase, and a recurring pattern of anger, aggression and irritability may emerge. This can be stressful for the child and parents and, in turn, disrupt a family’s harmony.
Behaviour management offers parents alternative strategies tailored to their family’s needs to support their child’s behavioural difficulties. It may include sessions with one or both parents and is a guidance tool that provides techniques best designed around the child and their individual needs.
We aim to reduce situations that have become stressful on families and equip parents with the tools to help their child regulate emotions effectively and safely.
